Program Highlights

Professional Coaching

Every Academy team is coached by experienced UFA staff with a focus on individual skill and team concepts appropriate for this age group.

Technical Focus

Major emphasis on ball mastery, 1v1 situations, and introduction to team tactics — building the technical foundation players carry throughout their career.

Futsal Winter Training

Players participate in two futsal seasons at United Center Futsal League, developing sharper footwork, quicker decisions, and technical skills in a small-sided environment.

Competition Details

Fall and Spring — Outdoor
  • IDL (Iowa Development League) games for Level 1 and 2 teams
  • ISL (Iowa Soccer Academy League) games for Level 3 teams
  • 1 local tournament included per season

Additional events at the discretion of UFA coaching staff will incur an additional cost.

Winter — Futsal
  • 24 futsal sessions (1 hour each)
  • 2 futsal seasons at United Center Futsal League

Additional winter events at the discretion of UFA coaching staff will incur an additional cost.

Team Structure and Uniform

Team Size
10–12 Players Per Team
Players are assigned by age and gender to maintain competitive balance and foster genuine team development.
Coaching
Experienced UFA Staff Coaches
All teams are coached by professional UFA staff providing consistent guidance and development throughout every season.
Uniform
Official UFA Kit Required
Purchased separately through Soccer Post. Must be worn for all training sessions and competitions.
