Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to all players registered with United Futbol Academy of Iowa. Please read them carefully. By completing registration or allowing your child to participate in any UFA activity, you agree to these terms.
Effective for all current and upcoming seasons. These terms apply to all players registered with the UFA Soccer Academy of Iowa, whose details are submitted using an online registration form and/or who take part in any footballing activity organized by the Club. Submitting a registration form or allowing your child to participate constitutes acceptance of these terms in full.
- You agree to pay all fees due to the Club as specified in the UFA program, which vary based on level of play and age group.
- Your child attending Club activities after fees have been communicated to you constitutes acceptance of your financial liability for those fees.
- Should you decide that your child will not continue participation mid-season, you remain liable for the full payment of dues for that season.
- Registration fees are non-refundable except in circumstances approved in writing by UFA leadership.
- You agree that both you and your child will comply with all codes of conduct and policies issued by the Club, including the UFA Player Code of Conduct and Club Policies and Procedures.
- These documents are available on the UFA website and are considered part of your registration agreement.
- Failure to comply may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of participation without refund.
- You consent to the Club registering your child with the UFA Soccer Academy and its affiliates as required for participation in leagues and competitions.
- Affiliates include but are not limited to leagues, tournaments, governing bodies, and third-party service providers.
- Registration with affiliates may be required for your child to be eligible for matches and competition.
- You consent to the Club taking photographs and video recordings of your child during training sessions, matches, and Club events.
- You agree that such recordings may be used by the Club for promotional and educational purposes, including on the UFA website, social media channels, and marketing materials.
- Images and videos will not be sold to third parties and will only be used in ways that reflect positively on the players and the Club.
- If you wish to opt out of photography consent, please notify UFA in writing at ufa@ufaiowa.com.
- By registering, you agree to receive emails from UFA including program updates, schedules, and club communications at the email address provided during registration.
- You may also receive periodic communications about UFA programs, events, and announcements.
- You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time by contacting us at ufa@ufaiowa.com. Operational communications regarding your child's participation cannot be opted out of while enrolled.
- You give permission to the Club to transfer personal data about you and your child, including name, email address, and mobile number, to carefully selected third parties that provide services to the Club.
- Current third-party service providers include Soccer Master and Spond.
- Such third parties may contact you in connection with the services they provide to UFA but will not use your personal information for any unrelated purpose.
- UFA does not sell personal data and is committed to protecting the privacy of all families in our community.
- You consent to a Club representative providing basic first aid and lifesaving aid to your child where necessary during Club activities.
- In circumstances where the Club is unable to contact you or your designated emergency contact, you agree that a Club representative may accompany your child to a medical facility and give consent for emergency treatment on your behalf.
- This consent is limited to emergency situations and does not authorize non-emergency medical decisions without parental approval.
By submitting the registration form or allowing your child to participate in activities organized by UFA, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. Failure to comply with these terms may result in disciplinary action, including termination of your child's participation in Club activities without refund.
